Cataracts develop when the lens of the eye becomes clouded, impairing vision. Our cataract surgery involves removing the clouded lens and replacing it with a clear artificial lens, known as an intraocular lens (IOL). LASIK (laser-assisted in situ keratomileusis) is a popular refractive surgery designed to correct vision issues like nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism.
